Economic Impact
Did you know that the full potential economic impact of an NHRA drag racing facility in Lancaster County isestimated at $23.2 million, and would add more than 200 jobs to the area?

A similar facility in Topeka, Kansas brings in an estimated $65 million annually, and is projected to exceed $100 million in the near future. Imagine what our community could do with an extra $65 million per year!

Making the Streets Safer
Dangerous and illegal drag racing is on the rise across the country. Many cities and states consider it an epidemic and are taking a hard line against it. Our facility will offer would-be racers the opportunity to race in a completely safe and controlled environment. Special programs through AAA Insurance and the NHRA encourage young motorists to take to the track and learn safe driving techniques instead of racing on the street.
